Giving birth was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, physically, mentally and emotionally... but also has given me the worlds greatest gift, my daughter. I’ve never felt a love like this before, so strong, so instant from just staring at her. She’s half me, half the love of my life. My body made her, kept her safe, and gave her everything she needs to be the little person she is today. Every day I get to know her better, and she gets to know me. We have this strong bond already and she’s only been in this world for such a short amount of time. I can honestly say I’m honoured to join motherhood, to join the millions of women who have brought life into this world.
