“That feeling when your love comes home after working away.
It’s not easy separating from the one you love, especially when that person doubles as your best friend too. But throughout the years what the time apart has taught me is; I am completely capable of taking care of our little farm, working, and doing all my own projects, renovations included. The flip side to that independence is I am so utterly thankful for when Jordan comes home and wakes up extra early to sneak out of the house to get vegan coffee cream and wakes me up with the perfect coffee in bed! (Why when I make my own coffee it just never tastes as good, I’ll never know!)
Balance is something I try and practice in all aspects of my life, and having space in our relationship balances out that the other 90% of the time we are glued to each other, side my side on a long car ride, plane ride, or crammed into a bus over seas. I am so happy the space is gone for now though. I feel more appreciative than ever, and so glad that next week we will be off to Peru to spend two and a half weeks together exploring some new territory together!”

”Find yourself a partner who stops everything to take care of your when your feeling under the weather. Yesterday a cold hit me like a truck, Jordo made me a cozy bed in the living room so I could nap near the sunlight. He fed me miso soup, had a constant supply of tea, and vitamin c brought to me. I would wake up to him bringing me a new hot water bottle for my sore bones. How lovely to have someone who cares so much about your well being. Remedies for colds ?? Please share them below, I’m feeling a bit better but really need to kick this cold before our next big adventure!”
